Welcome to Learned’s Boat Shop On Line Thank you for stopping by the Learned’s Boat Shop On Line. Our goal is that this web site answer any questions you may have about our boats and services. Three generations of the Learned family have fished dory boats off the beach at Pacific City, Oregon. The beach we launch off of is immediately south of Cape Kiwanda Since 1975 the Learned family has handcrafted these flat-bottomed boats. Learned dories have been built for buyers all over the United States, including Florida, Alaska and the Pribiloff Islands. Learned’s Boat Shop has been featured in “Wooden Boat” Magazine and “The National Fisherman”, among others. We are proud members of the Pacific City Doryman’s Association.
